A Global Storytelling Project and Planetary Intervention

You are shaping the future.
We want the world to see your vision.

We are living through a polycrisis.

Climate collapse. AI acceleration. The fracturing of institutions. Ecological breakdown. All converging at once. All amplifying each other.

Meanwhile the most powerful tools in human history are being built right now. The values encoded into them will determine what kind of world emerges from the reorganisation that is already underway.

Matriarchs.ai exists because the voices of those who have always known how to protect life, build collectively, and lead from the future rather than the past, must be at the core of what gets built next.

Not as a footnote.
Not as a consultation.
As a force.

The most consequential technological shift in human history is not coming.
It is here.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving from experiment to infrastructure, embedding itself into economies, governance systems, and the very structures through which power is exercised and contested.

Right now, AI is largely being built by the same systems that got us here. The same logic. The same hands. The same priorities. A handful of corporations making decisions that will govern billions of lives.

We know what they are building it for.

Matriarchs.ai exists to change that story.

To bring the voices of women and gender diverse leaders across every level of society, on every continent, into the story.

This is not just a conversation about technology. It is a conversation about who shapes the future of our world and what kind of future world we are building.

AI is a tool.

Like all tools, it amplifies what is already present in the hands that wield it.

In the hands of extraction and domination, it accelerates harm at a scale we have never seen before.

In the hands of matriarchal intelligence, collective wisdom, and genuine care for life, it could accelerate good at a scale we have also never seen before.

That intelligence exists.

It is carried by the women and gender diverse leaders who have always known how to protect life, build collectively, and lead from the future rather than the past.

Matriarchs.ai exists to gather that intelligence. To make it visible.

From scientists and policymakers to Indigenous knowledge keepers and grassroots organisers. From technologists to artists, filmmakers, and movement builders. The voices who are already building what comes next.

Together, their words are becoming something no single voice could: a living tapestry of what becomes possible when matriarchal intelligence meets the most powerful tools ever created.

A world that works for all beings. Human, more than human, ancestral, and future ancestral.

That is what we are weaving.
For the billions of people who need to know another world is not only possible, it is already being built.

You already know what time it is.

You are working at the frontier of one of the most consequential moments in human history. You have a vision, a stand, and a body of knowledge that could help shape the world that comes next.

Your voice is part of how we shape what comes next.

Interviews are available in any format, from five minutes to a full conversation, beginning at Women Deliver 2026 and by arrangement.

These are not interview questions.
They are coordinates for a shared map-making exercise at planetary scale.

What is your vision for the planet?

How can we bring matriarchal wisdom and ancestral intelligence into the systems now being built?

How will women help shape artificial intelligence?

What becomes possible when these technologies are placed into the hands of women and gender diverse leaders working for liberation across our planet?

What is the stand you are taking, and what keeps you returning to this work?

Together these conversations are the answer to the question this moment is asking. What world do we want to build? And who is already building it?

We approach every conversation with deep respect for the wisdom, experience, and courage of the people we interview.

We believe that the voices gathered through this project are not content to be consumed. They are voices to be honoured, amplified, and sent into the world with the weight they deserve.

We are committed to presenting every contribution with integrity and depth. We allow complexity to breathe. We actively resist the pull toward soundbites, headlines, and the flattening of nuanced thought.

We work in the spirit of reciprocity. What you bring to this project, we will steward with care.

This is not extractive journalism.
It is a collective act of world-building.
And we hold it that way.

A Global Acknowledgement

Matriarchs.ai is a global project, and we recognise that we work, film, gather, and transmit across the lands and waters of Indigenous peoples around the world.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of every territory this work touches, and pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging across every continent.

We begin principal filming in Narrm, on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, whose sovereignty was never ceded.

We hold the understanding that matriarchal intelligence and Indigenous wisdom are not separate from this work. They are at the heart of it.

This project exists in the spirit of that lineage.
In responsibility to it.
And in profound gratitude for it.
